Valerie earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Texas. This gave her a foundation in photo, video, and storytelling which prompted her career in marketing.
Like many entrepreneurs, Valerie experienced being overworked and undervalued with poor management.
This inspired her to start an agency that allowed her to work with woman-owned brands she truly believed in, in order to provide them with quality services, enthusiasm and genuine support. While simultaneously providing enjoyable work with fair pay and a healthy work-life balance to female creatives like her.
Today, Lumos Creative is a full-service agency and a team of 7 female creatives. Our client roster ranges from jewelry designers to doctors with a service menu including all essential marketing needs.
